Don't Just Skim the Surface.
It is our hope that Eagles Wings Counseling will be a safe place to land for those needing safety, support and direction. When I was a school social worker, I led a student leadership club called the Soaring Eagles. I often told my student leaders that through the ages, to be a Soaring Eagle was to be analogous to a person with integrity, and wisdom, to take the high road. When the Colonist were looking for a National Bird they first considered the turkey. But upon further inspection, they noticed a turkey runs and hides when a storm rolls in. This is not characteristic of an eagle. When storms come, the eagle flies into the storm and rides the wind currents, until the storm passes. Facing a life storm head on with support from others takes courage. We would be honored to support you through life’s storms.
